Lihuai orders Danieli straightener
Eastern China’s Jiangsu Lihuai Iron and Steel has ordered a Danieli Centro Maskin straightener, the Italian engineering firm says. The line will help Lihuai process high strength steel bars for automotive applications, Kallanish notes.
The new line can process bars 20-80mm in diameter with a straightness of within 1mm/metre and can operate at 100 metres/minute. Lihuai is 75% owned by Jiangsu Shagang Group subsidiary Huaigang Special Steel.
