Liberty's acquisition trail continues with Tata pipe mills
Liberty House’s apparent quest to challenge Tata Steel as the UK’s leading steel producer continues with the acquisition of two of the latter’s pipe mills based in Hartlepool in the north-east of England. The companies have signed a definitive sale agreement for the 42-inch and 84-inch so-called submerged arc welded (SAW) pipe mills.
