Latin American primary iron output rises in May
Latin American primary iron production grew in May. Five-month output also remained high compared to January-May 2020, Kallanish learns from regional steel producers' association Alacero.
According to Alacero’s latest monthly report, regional primary iron production was 3.66 million tonnes in May. This is 128,000 tonnes or 3.6% more over April and 50.4% higher year-on-year.
