Latin American steel exports to US increase again
Latin America continued to increase its exports of steel products to the US in November, according to the US Census Bureau in its preliminary monthly report monitored by Kallanish. Latin America in this context includes South and Central American countries together with Mexico.
Shipments from the region to the US rose in November to 714,218 tonnes. These were 84,285t more year-on-year and up by 74,293t compared with in October 2017.
