LatAm finished steel production falls sequentially in June
Latin American finished steel production slipped month-on-month in June. Output, however, was higher on-year for a seventh consecutive month, Kallanish learns from regional steel producers' association Alacero.
Finished steel output reached 4.82 million tonnes in June, 2.8% less over May but 56.5% higher on-year. Long steel represented 2.51mt, while flat steel amounted to 2.18mt and seamless tube to 120,600t.
