LatAm reduces exports to the US
Latin American exports of steel products to the US fell significantly in June, according to US Census Bureau preliminary data monitored by Kallanish. Latin America in this context includes South and Central American countries together with Mexico.
Latin American exports to the US amounted to 3,875,831 tonnes in the first half of 2018, down by -9% on-year. The value of shipments reached $2.86 billion.
