LatAm crude steel production improves in March

Latin America saw crude steel production recover sequentially in March, says regional steelmakers’ association Alacero. Output, however, was down on-year, although insignificantly, Kallanish notes. Regional crude steel production reached 5.33 million tonnes in March, up 9.8% on February’s volume of 4.85mt but just 0.4% less on-year.
