LatAm finished steel production slips on-month in July
Latin American finished steel production slowed down sequentially for a second consecutive month in July. Output, however, was higher on-year, Kallanish learns from regional steel producers' association’s Alacero latest report.
Finished steel output reached 4.78 million tonnes in July, 0.7% less over June but 37.5% higher on-year. Long steel represented 2.5mt, while flat steel amounted to 2.16mt and seamless tube to 120,300t.
