LatAm finished steel production dips in December
Latin America finished steel output fell month-on-month and was also down on-year in December 2022, Kallanish learns from regional steel producers' association Alacero.
Finished steel output reached 3.81 million tonnes in the period, down 14.1% over November. This volume was also 9.3% less on-year. Long steel accounted for 1.81mt of output, while flat steel and seamless tube were 1.85mt and 140,300t, respectively.
