LatAm’s February steel exports to US fall on-month
Latin America saw its exports of steel products to the US fall on-month in February. Shipments were however higher compared to a year ago when Covid-19 began to impact the Western Hemisphere, Kallanish notes. Latin America in this context includes South and Central American countries together with Mexico.
According to preliminary data issued by the US Census Bureau, exports to the US from Latin America were 58.1% lower on-month at 462,452 tonnes in February. …
