LatAm crude steel production recovers in April: Alacero
Latin American crude steel production rose in April after falling for three consecutive months. Output, however, remained weaker year-on-year, Kallanish notes.
According to steelmakers association Alacero, regional crude steel production reached 4.72 million tonnes in the month, 56,900t more than March’s volume but down 5.3% on-year.
