Kyrgyzstan eyes extending scrap export ban
Kyrgyzstan has submitted for public discussion a draft resolution designed to extend the ban on exports of scrap, waste and ferrous metal ingots outside the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), says the country’s Ministry of Economy and Trade.
According to the draft resolution, the ban is aimed at preventing critical shortages of resources for domestic scrap processing companies, Kallanish notes.
