Kyoei raises stake in Vietnam-Italy Steel again
Japan’s Kyoei Steel has again launched an offering for more shares in Vietnam-Italy Steel (VIS). The move could see it raise its stake in the company to 73.81% by the end of the year, Kallanish notes.
The purchase offer is expected to cost some VND 37 billion ($1.59 million) at around VND 25,000/share. VIS recorded a net loss of VND 130 billion on revenues of VND 3.856 trillion over January-September 2018.
