Kumba questions South African authorities' tax assessment
Anglo American’s South African operation, Kumba is being chased for a tax payment by the South African tax authorities, the company reveals. The demand relates to Kumba’s 73.9%-owned subsidiary Sishen Iron Ore Company (SIOC). The company is challenging the assessment it says in a statement.
