Kumba iron ore production/sales dip in 2018
Anglo American’s South African offshoot, Kumba Iron Ore, ended 2018 within its production guidance for the full year, the miner says in its latest production and sales report monitored by Kallanish. Both sales and production fell year-on-year however.
Full year iron ore production was 43.3 million tonnes, down -4% on-year, Kumba adds. Output fell at its main Sishen facility whilst at its Kolomela project production remained absolutely flat on-year. At…
