Kumba Iron Ore exceeds 2016 output guidance
Kumba Iron Ore increased shipments 2% on-year in the fourth quarter of 2016 to 11.22 million tonnes, Kallanish learns from the South-Africa based subsidiary of Anglo American.
This was driven by domestic sales which rose 15% to 613,000t, while exports grew 1% to 10.61mt. Kumba exports iron ore to the Far East, Europe and Middle East.
