Krakatau Steel targets rail plant

Indonesia’s Krakatau Steel plans to launch a project to build a rail rolling mill this year. The company notes there is no domestic supplier of rails and the country plans to invest heavily in its rail network in the coming years. No capacity or budget has been announced for the project, Kallanish notes.
