Krakatau Steel ships HRC to Malaysia
Indonesian state-owned steel producer Krakatau Steel shipped hot rolled coil, hot rolled plate (HRP), and hot rolled pickled and oiled (HRPO) products to Malaysia on 1 February, Kallanish learns.
The shipment was sent from its Bandar Samudera Seaport in Cilegon, Banten Province. Krakatau Steel president director Silmy Karim notes export shipments of steel in January rose to 31,766 tonnes from just 830t in January 2020.
