Krakatau to provide 15,000t of steel for hoes
Indonesia’s Ministry of Industry says the country needs to produce 10 million hoes each year to meet the needs of its agricultural industry, and to replace imports from China. It has appointed three companies to ensure the supply of these, of which PT Krakatau Steel will supply the steel, Kallanish notes.
