Krakatau secures loans for blast furnace commissioning
Indonesia’s PT Krakatau Steel has secured a credit facility to allow it to commission its new 1.25 million tonne/year blast furnace by the end of the year. The steelmaker is undergoing a significant expansion as it attempts to capture growing local demand, Kallanish notes.
