Krakatau losses deepen
Indonesia’s Krakatau Steel saw its net losses deepen in the third quarter of 2019. While revenues are falling, the company is struggling to control costs and is not being supported by its joint venture investments, Kallanish notes.
In Q3 the company saw revenues fall -17.5% year-on-year to $1.05 billion, while net losses grew to $211.91 million from $37.38m the year before.
