Kosco orders Danieli debar line
Korea Steel Shapes (Kosco) has ordered a debar rolling mill from Danieli. The line will be linked to an existing EAF and caster to form and endless casting-rolling plant, Kallanish notes.
The new line, to be installed at the plant in Chilseo, will produce 10-57mm diameter debars. Danieli supplied an EAF and 5-strand caster to the same plant in 2007. The new rolling mill will be linked directly to the caser through a Danieli Automation Q-Heat induction heater. Dani…
