Korean rebar imports surge with demand
South Korea’s construction sector is proving a boon to Chinese exporters, the latest Korean trade data suggests. Korean demand has been predicted to show only modest growth this year due to weak sectors such as shipbuilding, but China’s exports to the country have remained strong, Kallanish notes.
