Kobe Steel scandal spreads to iron powders
Japan’s Kobe Steel has been rocked by scandal after it admitted to falsifying certificates in its Aluminum & Copper Business on Sunday. It has now emerged that it also sent out iron powder that did not meet the agreed requirements. The company had previously had similar problems at affiliates but not at its direct subsidiaries, Kallanish notes.
