Kobe Steel reports surging profit, cuts production guidance
Japan's Kobe Steel earned attributable profit of JPY 54.1 billion ($468.65 million) in the nine months ended 31 December 2021, the first nine months of its 2021 fiscal year (FY21). Profit soared more than 13 times from the JPY 3.81 billion registered in the same period in FY20, Kallanish notes.
