Kobe Steel adds pickling at China CHQ plant
Japan’s Kobe Steel said Tuesday that it has commissioned new pickling equipment at its Kobe Special Steel Wire Products (Pinghu) subsidiary in eastern China’s Zhejiang province. The company also forecasts that Chinese automotive production will steadily increase to 32 million units in 2025 from the 28.12m units in 2016, Kallanish notes.
