Kobe eyes reduced-carbon ironmaking technology rollout
Kobe Steel says its new ironmaking technology tests have demonstrated a reduction in CO2 emissions of 20% versus the conventional method. The firm sees this technology becoming readily available in the near future at a lower additional cost compared to other CO2 reduction measures.
