KIOCL pauses pellet production on feedstock shortage
Indian state-run pellet producer KIOCL has suspended its pellet plant operation in Mangalore amid iron ore fines shortages in the nation, Kallanish notes.
“We hereby inform that the company has stopped the pellet production at the pellet plant unit (the plant) of the company situated at Mangalore effective 5 August 2023 at 2 PM, due to the non-availability of iron ore fines,” KIOCL informs in a note.
