Khouzestan Steel targets 2 million tonnes semis exports
Khouzestan Steel (KSC) is targeting crude steel production of 3.7 million tonnes and semi-finished product exports of over 2mt in the Iranian year through 20 March 2018, Kallanish learns from the firm.
In the last Iranian year through 20 March 2017 KSC’s production exceeded 3mt, while exports reached 1.9mt. One of these sales was an 18,000t billet shipment to Canada, KSC’s first shipment to North America (see Kallanish 4 October).
