Khouzestan Steel foresees 2.2mt of exports
Khouzestan Steel (KSC) aims to export 2.2 million tonnes of steel in the Iranian year through 20 March 2018 after shipments abroad reached 1.93mt in the eight months through 21 November.
According to KSC managing director Mohammad Keshani, the firm will produce 3.7mt of crude steel this Iranian year versus 3.6mt the previous year. KSC is also looking to acquire heavy plate producer Oxin Steel in a move that would give it its first rolling capacity, Keshani says.…
