Khorasan Steel four-month sales surge 33%
Khorasan Steel reported a 33% on-year growth in steel sales in the four months through 22 July to 250,000 tonnes, Kallanish learns from the Iranian steelmaker.
Of this tonnage, 51,000t was billet, up 20% on-year. Direct reduced iron sales, meanwhile, grew 43% to 114,000t.
Steel sales were driven by exports, which grew 42% on-year in the four months to 49,000t.
