Khorasan Steel achieves record nine-month sales
Khorasan Steel reported record sales of 652,916 tonnes in the nine months through 20 December 2016. The tonnage, which includes direct reduced iron, billet and long products, was up 22% on-year.
The previous highest sales in this period were achieved in the nine months through 21 December 2014 at 609,000t. Khorasan Steel spokesman Hussain Bakhtiari says the growth in shipments is a sign that Iran’s steel industry is recovering from the slump in demand…
