Kardemir opens billet, rod sales
Kardemir published a new price list and opened domestic sales for billet and wire rod on Wednesday, Kallanish notes.
150mm square billet was decreased by $5/tonne to $545-560/t ex-works, excluding 20% VAT. This is compared to the previous list issued on 16 May.
Prices for 5.5-56mm diameter wire rod have also been lowered by $5/t to $600-640/t, from Kardemir's previous list on 15 May.
