Kametstal’s output to be affected amid BF overhaul
Metallvest’s Kametstal steel plant has started a scheduled overhaul of blast furnace No.12, the company tells Kallanish.
Currently, the company operates two blast furnaces – No.1 and No. 9. On 4 May, the company announced the start of repair work in the blast furnace shop. The overhaul of the unit will be long-term, but the exact timing of its completion is unknown, Metinvest says.
