JSW, JFE partner for Vijayanagar blast furnace project
India’s JSW Steel has started the pilot demonstration for its Vijayanagar Works blast furnace operations using Japanese steelmaker JFE Steel Corporation’s proprietary Cyber-Physical System (CPS) technology, Kallanish notes.
The technology will help reduce operational impediments at JSW and also help reduce CO2 emissions in blast furnace operations, JSW says.
