Jianlong leases A’cheng furnace to produce steel semis
Xilin Iron & Steel Group’s A’cheng subsidiary in north-eastern China’s Heilongjiang province is recalling its previously dismissed workers. The Jianlong Group plans to resume production at the site around early-November, according to a company notice. A’cheng was established in 1989 with over 1 million tonnes/year of steel capacity but went bankrupt in 2014, Kallanish notes.
