Japanese scrap prices slide
Japanese scrap prices continue to fall, Kallanish notes. Hyundai Steel lowered its bidding prices for Japanese scrap for the third consecutive week. In Japan, Tokyo Steel lowered its domestic scrap purchases for the second time within five days.
