Japanese scrap export price falls in Kanto tender
Kanto Tetsugen's latest monthly export auction for Japanese H2 grade scrap from Tokyo Bay reflects a softening in the market, Kallanish notes.
The Kanto Tetsugen Cooperative Association auction on 19 August awarded a 3,000-tonne parcel to Hanwa Co at JPY 47,183/tonne ($430/t) fas for H2 grade scrap.
