Japan attacks Indian MIPs at WTO
Japan has officially asked the World Trade Organisation to convene a dispute settlement panel in its row with India over minimum import prices (MIP) on steel. Japan had sought consultations with India to avoid a long drawn-out suit, but appears to have failed to reach a settlement, Kallanish notes.
