January ABI reaches 11-year high
January’s US architectural billings index (ABI) hit its highest level since 2007, Kallanish learns from the American Institute of Architects.
The index increased to 54.7 from 52.8 in January. The index, which measures the 9-12 month lag between billings and construction spending, serves a bellwether for the construction industry. Readings above 50 generally indicate growth.
