Italiana Coke, Paul Wurth partner to cut emissions
Italiana Coke and Paul Wurth are joining forces to build a pilot plant to test a “revolutionary” technology to reduce carbon emissions in the steelmaking production cycle, says the technology supplier.
The test plant will be installed at the Italian coke supplier’s site near Savona, northern Italy, and will “generate CO2 neutral hot syngas from coke plant by-products by dry reforming”, Paul Wurth tells Kallanish.
