Italian stainless scrap prices seen increasing
Italian stainless steel scrap prices are seen increasing this month by €40-50/tonne ($42-53), following the April price stability, sources tell Kallanish.
The expected increase is due to the scrap needs of certain mills this month, but also due to shortages of material. Scrap merchants continue to report high prices for procuring 304 and 316 grades and difficulty finding material.
