Pricing flattens for Italian scrap imports from Europe
Italian scrap import transaction prices from other western European countries are unchanged month-on-month.
According to sources, demand from Italian mills for imported material remains robust. There has been an increase in the purchase of scrap vessels by steelmakers this month. These vessels contain a significant amount of E40 shredded, which is currently in lower demand from Europe, particularly from one steel mill, Kallanish notes.
