Italian rebar prices flatten
Italian rebar prices are flattening compared to last week as it seems the initial hike impetus is losing momentum, market sources tell Kallanish.
Steelmakers are now asking for €340-350/tonne ($368-379) base ex-works for rebar. Domestic values are pegged at €320-330/t base ex-works. Including extras, this week’s transactions remain flat on-week at €580-590/t base ex-works. Domestic mesh is also flat, hovering at €420/t base ex-works.…
