Italian rebar prices correct down
Following a €30/tonne ($32) increase in June, Italian rebar prices are currently experiencing a downward adjustment.
Although it was rumoured that steelmakers intended to raise prices in July to the base ex-works level of €400/t, buyers believe it would be challenging to increase contract values given the current low level of consumption, Kallanish hears.
