Italian rebar makers mull increases
Some Italian rebar producers are increasing their asking prices by €10/tonne ($10.8) on-week in an effort to slow the price decline. They are said to be mulling more price increases in April due to high processing costs.
Transaction values have been stable for the past ten days but buyers expect them to fall further, driven by low consumption, market sources tell Kallanish.
