Italian rebar contract values increase
Italian rebar prices are increasing in new contracts this month by €20/tonne ($21) on average. This follows steelmakers’ recent hike attempt at the end of last month, market sources tell Kallanish.
The market is now resuming activity after a quiet period due to the 25 April and 1 May bank holidays in Italy, when steelmakers reduced output to balance demand and supply.
