Italian plate to increase
Italian plate mills are expected to push up their prices again starting from next week, in line with increasing slab values, sources tell Kallanish.
Demand is now slowly picking up after the quiet restart of activity on 8 January. Buyers are asking for quotes, with mills quoting March lead times and seen increasing S275 grade to €800/tonne ($870) base ex-works from next week.
