Italian plate market stagnates, costs support prices
The quiet activity continues in the Italian plate market, with September considered a very slow month amid weak orders and very short visibility.
The few transactions that occurred last week mostly confirm unchanged prices compared to the beginning of the month. Market sources tell Kallanish that stronger demand is being reported for S355 grade compared to S275, which continues to be neglected by distributors’ customers.
