Italy’s Pittini carries out further Verona plant upgrades
Danieli will upgrade the Verona plant of Italian long steel producer Pittini Group in Verona, Kallanish learns from the Italian equipment maker.
The plant produces 750,000 tonnes/year of 5.5-25mm diameter wire rod and 6-18mm dia rebar. In 2018 Danieli supplied and started up a new caster, reheating furnace and complete rolling mill for the plant.
